What do your part numbers mean?
|
|
 |
|
Summary: The first letter of our valve and fitting part numbers defines the type of equipment (Valve, Tee, Spacer, etc.). The second letter defines whether it is a Component or an Assembly. The next four numbers are simply unique numbers without a relationship to features of the item itself. Additional suffixes may describe special variations such as whether a valve is suited for Low temperature or whether a tee has Viton seals. A general breakdown of our part number prefixes for assemblies and components respectively is:
Chokes - CA and CC (ie: CA1234 or CC1234);
Adapters - DA and DC;
Els - EA and EC;
Flowline - FA and FC;
Gages - GA and GC;
Laterals - LA and LC;
Spacers - SA and SC;
Tees - TA and TC;
Unions - UA and UC;
Valves - VA and VC;
Crosses - XA and XC;
Y's - YA and YC
